The Blue Ridge Show in WV is always a great show to attend!

We had a really good turnout for Rex! It's also nice to see new exhibitors joining the breed.

Man of Steel and Angel picked up the legs they needed for their grand champion certificates!

We sent several rabbits off to new barns, partied hard with my VA Rex crew, made some new friends (three of whom were also named Amanda—and surprise, we're all about the same age! Iykyk 😂), held some cutie pie kittens that stuck to my apron like Velcro, stocked up on supplies, did a little bit of everything!

Welcome to the new home of the 2027 ARBA Convention & Show!
While we are sorry that the facilities in South Carolina did not work out, we are incredibly grateful that we were able to secure a great location for 2027. Most importantly, this means our ARBA membership can come together once again to celebrate the very best of our hobby — our rabbits and cavies, the competition, the friendships, and the people who make this event so special.

Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing much more information about Madison, our leadership team, and our plans for the 2027 Convention. There is a lot of work ahead and plenty of exciting things to share, but for now, we are simply thrilled to invite everyone to join us October 22–27, 2027, in Madison, Wisconsin. We can’t wait to see everyone there!

I’ve gone through the herd again and made a second round of cuts, so I’ll have several rabbits available.

I’m also letting go of a few Rex that I think could be really helpful additions to someone else’s program. I’ll have a few senior animals available, along with a couple of younger bucks with plenty of potential.

One of our two leading men — Beach Bunny’s Heidi Ho 🤎 How he got his name...that's a story for another day. 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Heidi Ho is a chestnut buck bred by us, out of TS1169 × Herioux’s Valentino, and this boy is turning into a little hunk. 😍 He keeps getting better, and I'm really excited to see what he can do for the Holland program.

He's already made us proud- his very first show day, Heidi Ho won a Solid Junior Buck class, earning his first leg! 🏆

Now we’re entering an even more exciting chapter — his first litters are hopefully due next month! Fingers crossed for some cutie agoutis. 🤞🏻

Meet Skye 💙

Skye is a broken blue Holland Lop doe out of Lone Oaks Oscar × Ridge Hoppers Ladybug. She earned two junior legs and will turn one this November.

Her show days are behind her after going over max weight, but she has an even more important job now—Skye is the first Holland born here at Beach Bunny
Rabbitry to go on and produce babies for our program. 🐰

I was really pleased with her first litter this summer and she nailed it as a first time mom!

Brooke Sigler came over yesterday and we finally photographed almost the entire Holland herd—everyone except two! 📸🐰

I’ve been breeding Hollands for about a year now, and I’ve haven't done a formal introduction of the herd. I’ve shared a few pictures here and there, but never really stepped back and looked at the group as a whole this way.

And that might have been my favorite part of this photo shoot. Besides spending the day with Brooke of course! She's amazing and a talented photographer. Brooke was so patient with the rabbits!

I’m now starting to see the second generation of my program—a couple of litters out of 1 parent who were also born right here in my barn. Being able to look at them together and see where I started, what I’ve kept, and where I’m heading has been pretty rewarding.

There is still a ton of improvement on the road ahead, but I’m really proud of what I’ve been able to build in just one year. 💜
