Sheep Shearing Day!

Today we had a mutual friend come out and help us shear sheep.
Since we breed and raise Dorset sheep (which is a wool based breed), it is our job to shear their wool off! That means dedicated days for shearing sheep.

Fun Fact: Did you know sheep produce lanolin in their wool? Lanolin is used in makeups, lotions, and much more!

Happy Mother’s Day from our family to yours!

We moved cattle from one pasture to another and sorted weanlings based off of replacements for our older cows.

Now heading out for a Mother’s Day dinner!
