We're excited to welcome everyone tomorrow for our very first Playing in the Vines!

Here are a few important details to help you plan your evening:

📅 Event Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

🌯 Food: Sexi Mexi Food Truck will be onsite serving from 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM. You're also welcome to bring your own food or snacks if you'd like.

🍷 Beverages: No outside alcohol is permitted. We appreciate your understanding. Slater Run Vineyards w**e will be available for purchase by the glass and by the bottle.

☀️ Weather: This is an outdoor event and will be held rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.

🪑Seating: We have limited table seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend bringing your own lawn chairs or blankets so you can relax and enjoy the evening.

🎟️ Tickets: We will have a list of ticket holders for check-in at the Tasting Room. You do not need to print your ticket.

🪪 Age Requirement: All guests must be 21 years of age or older.

Looking for authentic French oak w**e barrels? We're making room in the cellar and have a selection of used red w**e barrels available for purchase.

🍷 2017–2020: $75 each (approx. 8 available)
🍷 2021: $150 each (approx. 22 available)
🍷 2022: $200 each (approx. 40 available)

Each barrel has been carefully maintained in our cellar, steamed between lots and vintages, and sulfured every two months. We'll even steam your barrel again before pickup if requested. We also have a list of coopers available for anyone looking for a specific cooperage.

Perfect for w**eries, breweries, distilleries, cideries, home w**emakers, furniture makers, gardeners, and DIY projects.

The date is set, and tickets are officially on sale for our 10th Annual CrabFest!

Join us on the lawn for an all-you-can-eat crab feast supporting the Churches of the Upperville Outreach Program, which provides food and essential assistance to local families in need.

Four times each year, around Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Easter, the Outreach Program delivers food parcels and holiday meals to local families.

The initiative is funded through community donations, special holiday services, and local fundraising events like CrabFest.

New this year: We're delighted to welcome children to CrabFest! As one of the few family-friendly events we host each year, we've added a dedicated Kids Menu featuring hot dogs, lemonade, watermelon, cornbread, and cookies so everyone can join in the fun.

Journey through one of France's most celebrated w**e regions with Sommelier Sara Gann as you explore a curated selection of five w**es from the Loire Valley.

Stretching along France's longest river, the Loire Valley is a patchwork of vineyards shaped by diverse soils, cool-climate influences, and centuries of w**emaking tradition. From vibrant, mineral-driven whites to elegant reds and sparkling w**es, each glass offers a unique expression of the region's remarkable history and terroir.

Classes are held at 1pm on Sundays. Select the date that works best for you, as each session features the same tasting experience.
