Last week at the Farmers Market we were asked to make a corner bread box. Don took on the task & they picked it up today! Thanks to the Halversons for their order!

A few weeks ago Don found a beautiful red cedar slab in his wood stash that would be perfect for a bench. Not long after he purchased another slab that was just right for the back. Now his vision was coming to life. A visit to his Amish friend Benny Kium, who is also passionate about wood, would complete the bench. Out to the woods they went & found a log perfect for the base. Here is the final product after a couple of weeks worth of work! I think it is stunning!! And of course he had to make a side table to match! Next time you are out to eat @ The Rustic Table try out the new bench on the porch!!
