A quick Friday farm update!

We have lots of crops starting to come ready.
Zucchini
Broccoli
Vegetable Marrow
Pattypan squash
Bok Choy
And more!
They may be in limited quantities while we wait for the patches to come to full production.

Canning Tomatoes are available to order online. Link on our website to localline
We update our availability daily as we are grading to reflect how many canning tomatoes we have available.

Unfortunately for those waiting for strawberries we have been told by the farm in the lower mainland That it will be a two or three week wait as they need the second crop to come ready. For local strawberries please check out Dove Creek produce farm or Devonshire farm or the Saturday Farmers market!

A quick Friday farm update!

We have lots of crops starting to come ready.

We are hiring for our Greenhouse crew and our field-market crew!

Greenhouse crew works in the care and maintenance and pruning of plants. We have 15 greenhouses with tomato and cucumber plants.

Market crew is the crew that does it all!
We work in greenhouses, pick in the greenhouses, plant and harvest in the fields, work in the market and so much more.
Each day is a variety of jobs keeping things interesting and fun!

Qualifications:
🥕Must be 16+ and legally allowed to work in Canada.
🥕A class 5 or 7N drivers license
🥕 Able to work weekends.
🥕A great sense of humor
🥕 Willing to learn and work both inside and outside each day. (Field- market crew)
🥕 Able to work 1 late shift a week. (10am to 630) Each week. (Market crew)
🥕Starting wage is $19/hr.

We are Hiring for full time work on our field-market crew!

This is the crew that does it all!
We work in greenhouses, pick in the greenhouses, plant and harvest in the fields, work in the market and so much more.

Our opening day will be Thursday May 28th.
We will be open 10am to 6pm daily, including holidays.

We will have lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, beets, green onions and hopefully more.

On our opening day we will post with pictures of all that is ready, some crops we are not certain will be ready for opening day. We will make a decision if we are picking them on opening morning.

Full time work available.
Must be able to work weekends.
Drivers license an asset class 7N, or Class 5 minimum.
16 years or older as required by B.C.'s young worker laws.
Starting wage is $19/hr.

These May days have been absolutely beautiful and fantastic growing weather!

We've had alot of inquiries as to when we are opening! We are hoping for sometime in late May after the long weekend.
It is a last minute decision each year as we assess the fields to determine when we can open. As soon as we decide on an opening day we will post to Facebook, Instagram and we will update the chalkboards at the front of the market.
