A sneek peek of what we have at the market this weekend.

🍓🍓🍓 Strawberries are $3.95 each in a 1 lb clamshell container. Flats are $35.50 for 9lbs.
Strawberries are grown by Holden Lake Farms in Nanaimo

🥔 5lb bags of #1 Yellow potatoes are $3.50 each.

1 lb basil is on sale for $15 each.

We have started picking leeks and flat cabbage for cabbage rolls!

It's the weekend farm update!

🥒 Cucumbers are on sale for $1.50 each
🍓 strawberries are from Holden lake farms in Nanaimo!
🥔We just started russet potatoes and have 5lb bags available in the market.
🌽Today we have Nirvana (bi-colour corn) in the market to start and lots more varieties to pick through out this coming week!

We are currently hiring for our Market/Field crew!

This is our crew that does it all from picking and working in the greenhouses to working in the market and picking in the fields! This crew is ideal for someone with A positive attitude, good sense of humor and enjoys working outside.

-must have a class 7N or class 5 drivers license and be able to lift 40lbs.
- Safety footwear is required.
-availability a minimum of 3 days a week required
- availability for closing shifts (9am - 530pm) an asset
- starting wage is $19/hr.

Field-market crew:
🥦 This crew does it all! We work in greenhouses, picking in the fields as well as in the market! Every team member learns to do it all!
*Full time work available
* Must be able to work weekends and 7am to 330pm shifts during the week. 1 late shift 10am to 630 pm a week required.
*Must have a valid class 7N or better drivers license
*Must wear CSA approved safety footwear
* Starting wage is $19/hr

Potato and Corn Crew
🥔 This crew does a wide variety of general farm tasks! Their main jobs include harvesting potatoes and picking corn for the farm market however anything from weeding to irrigation can be part of the job!

* Must have a valid class 7N drivers license or better.
* Must be available to work 7am to 430 pm for shifts during the week and or weekend
* CSA approved safety footwear required
* Ability to lift 50lbs required.
* Starting wage is $19/hr

We have now started picking our pickling cukes. We pick every day and will have them available for sale on our online ordering site. http://sieffertsfarm.localline.ca

Pickling cucumbers are not available in our market . They are only available by order on our ordering website . Each morning, we must pick, wash, grade and package our pickling cucumbers before we can update our inventory. Every day between 2:30 and 7 p.m. we will update our inventory.

When trying to order, if we are all out of stock please be patient our season is just starting and there will be more each day. We only allow orders for two days in advance to maintain the best quality product possible. We do not take payment online and all pickling cucumbers are to be picked up at our Market. Please ask one of our staff and they will get your order from the back.

When ordering please make sure you receive a confirmation email. This can take up to 15 minutes to arrive and sometimes ends up in your junk folder. If you did not receive a confirmation email it likely means your order did not go through and the process was not completed. We anticipate our pickling cucumbers season to last for a couple weeks.
