Dear friends and supporters of our farm. We have some bittersweet news to share with you all. After fourteen seasons of growing food for our community, 2026 will be our last at Sideroad Farm. Our family has made the decision to move to back Vancouver Island to be closer to family and continue our farming journey there.
We will continue business as usual on the farm until the end of 2026 and the farm store will be open as usual during this time. We have planted all of our winter storage crops and will have lots of chicken and pork available into the winter.
We want to share that in the coming weeks, we’ll be listing the farm for sale. Our hope is to find a buyer who will carry forward the values of Sideroad Farm for many years to come. We’ll do our best to keep you updated as plans develop.
Being part of this community has sustained us for many years and we are very grateful for your support of our farm and family during this time.
