The Trust was founded in 1979 as an educational trust working with inner city children and young people with special needs or disabilities. Each year we provide an outstanding learning and developmental experience for over 11,000 children, many from disadvantaged backgrounds, and young adults with disabilities and special needs from inner city areas. We are a classroom in the countryside!

On Thursday we held our annual summer show evening where we celebrated our students and their achievements this year. They had the chance to show their families some of their work, enjoy food together, and receive awards for their incredible work.

We are incredibly proud of our all students and can’t wait to enjoy the summer with the young adults, and see lots of secondary students back in September. Some will be leaving for college or other education and we are wishing them the best of luck and we can’t wait to hear how they get on!

Last week, we were delighted to officially open our new Outdoor Classroom! A huge thank you to our key partners who made it happen: leading partner B. Braun Medical Ltd - UK, Graham and Susan Royle and , as well as and .

The new outdoor classroom will provide more opportunities for vulnerable children and young people to connect with nature and improve their mental health and wellbeing.

We celebrated the launch with some Whirlow fizz, canapés made by our students, and an official ribbon pulling!
