What is Mema up to now? 😏

That question inspired the name Mema’s Inclination—but there’s a twist.

When this adventure began, I was becoming a Mema for the very first time…and our property happened to sit on one seriously steep slope.

A new Mema.
A big inclination.
And absolutely no idea what I’d get up to next.

That’s what Mema’s Inclination is all about:

Having fun. Keeping it real. Trying new things. And sharing the honest, wonderfully imperfect adventure along the way.

So come on—let’s see what Mema is up to now! ❤️

🦬 She was only minutes old when we found her.

We walked into the pasture this afternoon and there she stood—still wet, still wobbly, and already trying to find her feet.

Our newest yak calf is a beautiful little girl, and we were lucky enough to witness some of her very first moments as Mom began cleaning and caring for her.

Even during a difficult season, life keeps growing at Mema’s.

Every seed packet you purchase helps us buy feed and continue caring for this little girl, her mama, and all the rare and wonderful animals that call our farm home.

🌸 Hand-harvested Lupine and Columbine seeds
🌱 $3 per packet—shipping included
💜 Choose Lupine, Columbine, or a mix

Comment SEEDS and I’ll message you with the simple ordering details.

Plant something beautiful. Help us raise something rare.

Morning Dawn 🌿✨

Sometimes the best ideas happen with a bowl, a whisk, and a little curiosity.

Last night I was playing with our rendered Meishan leaf lard and created a whipped body butter I'm calling Morning Dawn. Light, silky, and infused with just a whisper of lavender and thyme, it feels like the quiet moments of an herb garden just after sunrise.

It's one more reminder of just how incredibly versatile Meishan pigs are on a homestead. They're not only a heritage breed worth preserving—they provide nourishment and beautiful, traditional products that have been used for generations.

Simple ingredients. Timeless traditions. A little bit of morning magic. 🌅💚
