Our cider is crisp, tart, and refreshing with a pronounced fruit aroma and a dry finish. Our tasting room is just south of Charlottesville off Route 29.

Nothing goes into our cider but fresh pressed local apples and yeast- we don't add any sugar, water, or flavorings that are 'supposed to taste like apples'. We rely on the flavor, aroma, and acidity that comes from our apples, and we think Virginia has some of the best apples in the world. The result is a very drinkable cider- by the bottle or the wine glass - that pairs well with food, is naturally gluten-free, and is as enjoyable in the summer as it is in the fall. Offering craft cider, wine, and non alcoholic options with snacks and frequent food trucks. Featuring live music, plentiful shade, and generous outdoor spaces. In light of the health risk posed by COVID-19, our tasting room is taking advanced sanitation measures to safely seat our guests indoors and outdoors.

• Experience jazz music like never before — with free dance lessons from SwingCville ! It’ll be a fun night of swingin’ tunes and vintage moves. Dance lessons start at 5pm, and ZuZu’s Hot 5 performs live at 6pm 🎺

• Lua Project is back with their unique mix of sounds, stories, and cultural traditions at 5:30pm. Weather permitting, we’ll be experiencing their sounds and sones of Mexico, Appalachia, and Atlantic Basin on the Lower Lawn stage so bring your blankets/chairs 🎻

🕯️ The Front Porch presents a one-of-a-kind candlelight show with The Golden Hours at Potter's Craft C***r on Thursday, December 3 at 7 PM!

The Golden Hours is a new Charlottesville-based band formed by the members of acclaimed indie-folk acts David Wax Museum and Lowland Hum. These musicians have been touring and recording for over 20 years, featured on CBS Saturday Morning and NPR’s Tiny Desk, and lauded by The New York Times, Washington Post, TIME and Rolling Stone, among others. The Golden Hours’ debut record Terra Nova (to be released in 2027) includes “Day Wheel,” an NPR Music Song of the Day. The forthcoming album brings together the power of these four songwriters in an artifact that is simultaneously lush and distilled, emotionally probing, and conceptually expansive.
