Better late than never. 😂 The farm stand is restocked (not with lambs but you get the idea on why we're so late with this post)...

We’ve been busy with bottle baby lambs because apparently the farm needed more tiny mouths demanding room service. 🐑🍼

Here’s what we’ve got this weekend:

🧄 Fresh garlic from our friends in Winters
🥒 A few more pickling cucumbers
🍞 Sourdough bread in the freezer — because we may be on a baking break, but we’re not monsters.
🥚 Chicken eggs
🦆 Duck eggs — rich, protein-packed and loaded with vitamins and minerals. Fancy breakfast, basically. Great for baking
🐦 QUAIL EGGS — $2/dozen — We have WAY too many.

+ the usual staples...honey, dry mixes, cheese, jam...

Baking break reminder: We’re taking a break through October 18th. The oven is on vacation. The lambs, unfortunately, are not. 😂

All the usual good stuff is back in the stand, and baked goods will be stocked Friday by 10:00 a.m. 🍞🍪

Eggs, sourdough, produce, honey, jams, pantry goodies and all the other things we somehow keep adding to the farm stand. 😂

Some mornings just don’t go as planned. 😂

But somehow, between taking in a bummer lamb (aka Lilly) and the usual general chaos around here, we managed to restock the farm stand AND get the sourdough in this morning.

Lilly is one of three Dorper lambs who needed a new home, so naturally… we said yes. Because apparently we have absolutely no ability to say no to a baby animal.

She’s just three days old and doing really well. ❤️

If you see us out and about on the property, say hi! Our chore list is long today. Really, really long. Like “maybe we should have thought this through” long.

And if we’re around and you have a few extra minutes, you are welcome to meet and cuddle Lilly 🫶
