Another 🎃 seed count coming through! This pumpkin has been at Capitol Auto Group in Salem, and the winning guess was only off by ONE. 🤯 Matt, you also won a car care kit/free oil change from Capitol Auto and a complete Christmas setup from us at Bauman's.

If you recall, Brian from Capitol Auto will be riding our mechanical rooster for the equivalent of 1 second/seed, so he's got to hold on just over four minutes!

Before we announce the final seed count, here are some fun facts related to your guesses.

• More than 3,000 of you participated!
• Guesses ranged from 0-a googol, or 10,000,000,000 (10 billion) if we want to go with a number for which we can type all the zeroes.
• The most common guess was 10,000 with 36 entries.
• The most Gen Z guess was 6,767,676,767.
• 1,000,000,000 (one billion) seeds alone would weigh approximately 440,924 pounds! That's 194 times heavier than the weight of this pumpkin which is 2,271 pounds.

Bauman's Harvest Festival ends this Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 4pm. This giant pumpkin will be on display until then, so you have a couple days left to see it in all its glory.
