Tomorrow evening, we’re gathering on the Glen to make something beautiful for fall.
Our Fall Wreath Workshop is Wednesday, October 14 from 6–8 pm.

We’ll start with a grapevine wreath and a beautiful collection of dried and preserved botanicals, then walk you through creating an asymmetrical fall wreath that is completely your own.

Everything you need will be waiting for you, along with coffee, tea or cocoa and a little lavender treat to enjoy while you work.

Come with a friend, make it a night out, or come on your own and spend a couple of hours creating with us.

A little more of the harvest is making its way into the farm store!

We've been gathering cornstalks and harvesting our colorful Indian corn, and some of it has already found its way into a few handmade autumn swags.

If you're still decorating for fall, we have plenty of ways to bring a little of the harvest home.

Cornstalks — $1 each or 6 for $5
Indian Corn — $2 per cob or 6 for $10
Handmade Indian Corn Swags — $15–$25

The swags are made here on the farm using our Indian corn, dried flowers, grasses, and other bits gathered from the fields.

One of the things we enjoy about this time of year is finding new ways to use what we've grown. From the fields to the front porch, there's still plenty of beauty to be found in the harvest.

October is beginning to show off on the Glen.

Just off the Glen Path, this tree has been changing a little more every day — and right now, it is absolutely beautiful.

This is one of those weeks when it’s worth making time for a walk. The woods are changing quickly, the leaves are beginning to glow, and we know this part of fall never lasts quite as long as we wish it would.

Come wander the Glen Path, take your time and see what October is doing around the farm.

The trail is open during farm store hours, Monday– Friday, 10-5 and Saturday, 9–5.

A little Saturday afternoon wreath-making inspiration from the Glen! 🍂

We’ve been gathering dried flowers, grasses, grains, and all sorts of autumn treasures for our Fall Wreath Workshop this Wednesday evening, October 14th.

One of my favorite things about working with natural materials is how beautifully they come together. The different textures, warm autumn colors, and little unexpected details make every wreath unique.

We’ll be creating beautiful, natural autumn wreaths that you can enjoy throughout the season. No experience necessary — just come ready to spend a relaxing evening getting creative!

A little piece of the fall harvest for your front porch.

Earlier this week, we headed into the field to begin harvesting our Indian corn. Now the stalks have been cut and gathered and are ready at the farm store.

If fall decorating is on your weekend list, stop out and grab a few grown right here on the Glen.

Perfect for porches, barns, entryways, businesses or anywhere that could use a little bit of harvest season.

Corn stalks are $1 each or 6 for $5, available while they last.

We’re open today from 9–5.

There are some sounds on the farm that make you stop what you’re doing and look up.

This is one of them.

We’ve been seeing huge flocks of geese moving over the Glen lately, another sure sign that the season is changing.

No matter how many times we see them, there’s something pretty incredible about watching hundreds of birds move across the sky together — hearing them before you can even find them overhead.

For a few minutes, the farm could wait while we simply stood and watched in awe as Mother Nature put on quite a show.

Sometimes the best moments on the Glen are the ones we didn't plan at all.

Come blend a little bit of autumn on the Glen this weekend.

Our Autumn Tea Blending Station will be set up Friday and Saturday, with everything you need to create your own tea blend to take home.

Start with your tea base, choose the flavors you love, add a little floral, then mix it all together and make a blend that is completely your own.

Maybe yours will be warm and spicy. Maybe a little more floral. Maybe you’ll discover a combination you never would have thought to try.

There really isn’t one “right” autumn tea — and that’s part of the fun.

The Tea Blending Station will be available Friday and Saturday during regular hours.

Some of our favorite things on the Glen are the things that don’t really have anything to do with selling something.

The Bothan is one of them.

We created this little spot along the Glen Path as a place to stop for a while — part pollinator library, part quiet place, and part invitation to slow down and notice what’s around you.

There are books to read, Quiet Notes left by people who have passed through, and usually something buzzing, growing or changing nearby.

It’s a small thing in the grand scheme of an 80-acre farm.

But over time, we’ve realized that these little places matter. They’re part of what we want the Glen to be — not simply somewhere you come to shop, but somewhere you can wander, discover something unexpected and maybe stay a little longer than you planned.

We have a little confession to make.

We haven’t been very good at sending out our Friends of the Glen newsletter.

We started it because we wanted a place to share a little more of what’s happening here — stories from the farm, things we’re working on, upcoming workshops and gatherings, new products and some of the things that don’t always make it onto Facebook.

Then, as things tend to do around here, farm life got busy and the newsletters didn’t always make it out.

We want to change that.

We’re committing to sending Friends of the Glen once a month — a little note from the farm about what’s happening now and what’s coming next.

No overflowing inbox. Just one email each month to help you stay connected to the Glen.
