Man, this little lionlop runt cracks me up. It escaped and was running around visiting, and when I caught it, it squealed like a piggie then stopped and looked at me like, "What?, it's not my fault that you underestimate my awesomeness!!".

We experienced what I knew was possible, but you don't think will happen. Our 78 rabbits, 5 dogs, 6 cats, and our blm Mustang mare w/colt were evacuated. As well as the rest of the Hideaway Ranch.

We were pleasantly surprised at the immediate response of volunteers and friends. We were terrified, more for our animals than anything, and they took that fear off of our shoulders.

The OSU Extension 4H groups took care of everything for our animals. The community continues to bring in donations, businesses donated supplies for the shelters without hesitation.

Families volunteered to come and help out.

Our military came and worked beside us, not ordered against us, as it should be. I myself am a veteran.

This is how it is supposed to be. Thank you to all who spent time with us, and took care of our fur family. We could have lost everything else. Those are things, but our animals are our hearts.

We have been at the Klamath county fairgrounds since Saturday. We were the first property to be evacuated out of Sprague River.
Emergency situations do crazy things to your mind, and body. We have clothes, but didn't think about our sleeping arrangements as our friends are mostly from the same area and in the same situation. Luckily we had some tents in our storage unit and amazing people donated blankets, an air mattress, and pillows. A huge shout out to Kristina Manzo and her family, and her friend. (I apologize for not remembering your name.) They came out and helped us move our rabbits, and then just blessed us with needed supplies. Also a huge kudos to our friends Erica and Cody Wheeler at C and E Acres who supplied those of us camping out here with our animals, food, drinks, silverware and more.

The amount of support that has come in from the community has been amazing. The 4H kids and families are doing an amazing job of taking care of the animals checking on them multiple times a day, and helping when more animals come in.

All of the farm and feed stores donated animal feed, buckets, and feed bowls, etc. Local farms donated hay, and assistance. Individuals and families donated animal feed, bowls, treats, toys! Our huskies (Shona, Nix, Loric and Crystal), Suki our sharpei, and our Great Pyrenees, Lagitha love the squeaky toys, pillows, and chews they got. So thank you so much to all!!
Huskies get really stressed out when they are separated from their people. As do cats. So we stayed with them all.

Plus we have had the pleasure of teaching people about the different rabbits we have. A lot of the other rabbits that have come in are also from our lines, so that has been fun to see.

So thank you to everyone who is helping each other. We pray for those who have lost, and the fear. Just know that we do have a lot of people who care, and we outnumber those who don't.
