Kerfluffle Fiber Farm Welcome to Kerlfuffle Fiber Farm, the home of the Hooded Infinity Scarf! My name is Mandy McDonald. Welcome to Kerfluffle Fiber Farm and Homestead.

I am living my best life with lupus, while homeschooling three kids on our small fiber farm and working my small handmade business. My name is Mandy. I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician,mother, home schooler, crafter extraordinaire, farmer and homesteader. After spending 5 years in emergency Veterinary Medicine and 4 years in small animal and exotics, I decided to trade in my stethoscope for a

shovel and combine both my passion for animals and my love for creativity and art. And so Kerfluffle Fiber Farm was born. It was not long before I had acquired my first herd of Alpacas from one of Maine's premier Alpaca breeders. Followed by a small herd of German Angoras and a few babydoll sheep. I was well on my way to having the fiber farm of my dreams. While the fiber farm is my love I have another passion in life. This passion is one of self sustainability, and a healthier lifestyle through the art and heritage of homesteading. In 2013 I purchased my first trio of silver fox rabbits to raise for consumption and fur. I have also added poultry, laying ducks and chickens. My goal is to eventually have a large garden and a colony of bees. I deeply enjoy learning and the sharing of the knowledge that I have acquired with others. Client education about animal care and husbandry is a top priority of mine. I also love to give demonstrations on different aspects of the fiber arts.

I know I haven’t been posting as much lately. My infusions and health have taken up a lot of my time and energy, and honestly, the extra work that goes into filming, photographing, and creating content just hasn’t been something I’ve had the energy for.
But behind the scenes, I have been busy! ❤️
I’ve been working away, learning new skills, creating new inventory, and adding lots of new handmade items that I absolutely cannot wait to share with you all.
This is just a little sneak peek at one of the new things coming your way. 👀

New product preview!!

I have been working on a few new products for this season! Here is a sneak peak of my latest creation.

This is a 4x5 in cash/card keeper. I designed it to attach to a keychain, wristlet, wrist strap or any bag.

This sturdy little keeper has a heavy weight fleece stabilizer to give it lots of stability and body.

Still going over name ideas...🥰

Mine is in my sewing studio, watching a new collection come to life one stitch at a time.

These Rosehips hooded infinity scarves are fresh off the sewing machine and are the first pieces in my new Woolies Line.

Every print in the Woolies Line will include two lengths of hooded infinity scarves, along with a limited number of coordinating handmade accessories.

Now all I need to do is sew on the tags, and these beautiful scarves will be ready for their new homes. Now onto the accessories 😍

Today's accomplishment... 4 petite pouches🥰

I had my 3rd IVIG infusion Tuesday so I need to take it easy and focus on recovery for the next few days.

What I love about making these little bags is that once I sew the outer and inner lining, I need to hand stitch them together and then hand stitch the kiss clasp on.

It is a lot of work, but it is work that I can do sitting in bed resting. Anything I can do while resting is fantastic 😍.
