The Working Wheels of Walnut Ridge Farm & Moo Cow Creamery

The story of Walnut Ridge Farm began in 1936, when Pam’s grandparents, Maynard and Helen Hawker, started a family farming legacy built on hard work and determination.

Nearly 90 years later, Pam, Danny, and Amber keep that legacy moving at Walnut Ridge Farm and Moo Cow Creamery.

Pam — The Heart and Fighter

Pam has farmed her entire life, fighting through challenges to support her family, feed her community, and keep family farming alive.

Moo Cow Creamery became another part of that mission, connecting the farm directly with the community.

Danny — The Strength Behind the Farm

Danny Moser joined Walnut Ridge Farm full-time in 2018. Pam’s husband and a farmer with deep agricultural roots, he manages the crops and has a natural gift with animals.

His strength, kindness, and determination keep the farm moving forward.

Amber — The Caretaker and Creative Spirit

Amber returned to the farm in 2020. She cares for the young stock, from newborns through pre-fresh animals, with dedication and compassion.

She also handles mowing, trimming, and the flowers that make the farm welcoming and beautiful.

Three People. One Farm. One Legacy.

Pam, Danny, and Amber each bring different strengths, but together they are the working wheels of Walnut Ridge Farm and Moo Cow Creamery.

From Maynard and Helen beginning the farm in 1936 to the cows in the barn and customers at Moo Cow Creamery today, the legacy continues.

Farming means early mornings, long days, unpredictable challenges, and constant work. But it also means family, tradition, caring for animals, growing food, and serving the community.

Walnut Ridge Farm is more than a farm. Moo Cow Creamery is more than a farm store.

Together, they are a living family legacy—kept alive by the people who work for it, care for it, and believe in it.

Amber Beachley — The Heart Behind the Young Stock
Every farm has those special people who seem to have a little bit of magic in everything they do. At Walnut Ridge Farm, that person is Amber Beachley.
Amber returned to the farm in 2020, and her return would become a turning point for our family and our farm. She brought with her a passion for agriculture, a love for animals, creativity, determination, and a vision that would eventually help give life to something very special — Moo Cow Creamery.
Amber is our animal caretaker, and her days revolve around some of the most important members of our farm family — the young stock. From the tiniest babies taking their first steps to the heifers approaching their next stage of life, Amber is there. She feeds them, watches them, cares for them, and knows their individual personalities and needs. She has a special way with animals, and they seem to know that they are safe and loved when she is around.
Her job doesn't stop with the animals.
Amber is also the one behind so much of the beauty around Walnut Ridge Farm. She takes care of the mowing, trimming and flowers, making sure that our farm looks as welcoming and beautiful as the people and animals who call it home. Whether she's caring for a newborn calf or working outside making the grounds look their best, Amber puts her whole heart into whatever she does.
And then there is Moo Cow Creamery.
When Amber came back to the farm, she was looking for a way to be part of the family business and help create a future here. That desire became one of the reasons we took the leap into value-added products and eventually opened Moo Cow Creamery. In fact, Amber is the one who came up with the name "Moo Cow Creamery." What started as an idea became something that has grown into a very special part of Walnut Ridge Farm and our family.
Today, Amber wears many hats. She's an animal caretaker, a farmer, a landscaper, a business owner, a creator, a mother, a daughter, and so much more.
But most importantly, she is family.
Amber has a heart for this farm that is hard to put into words. She understands that farming isn't just about the work you see — it's about getting up every day and doing what needs to be done, even when it's hard, even when you're tired, and even when there are challenges around every corner.
We are incredibly proud of Amber and all that she brings to our family farm. Her talents may be many, but her greatest gift is her heart.
Without Amber, Walnut Ridge Farm wouldn't quite be the same — and neither would Moo Cow Creamery.
Amber, thank you for believing in this farm, believing in our family, and helping us build something special for the future. We couldn't do it without you. ❤️🐄🌸

Happy Anniversary to this guy! We have had more then our share of ups and downs. But 33 years later we are still doing us! I couldn't have picked a better guy to spend my life with. Love you Danny, your the best.

Danny Moser — The Heart Behind the Land at Walnut Ridge Farm
Every farm has someone who works the land, but every once in a while, there is someone who seems to understand the land and the animals in a way that goes far beyond farming. At Walnut Ridge Farm and Moo Cow Creamery, that person is Danny Moser.
Danny came to Walnut Ridge Farm full time in 2018, joining his wife, Pam, and becoming an important part of the family operation. Together, Pam and Danny have raised four children and built a life around family, faith, hard work, animals and the land they love.
Farming isn't just a job for Danny. It is in his blood. His family has been involved in agriculture since the early 1800s, carrying with them generations of knowledge, determination and respect for the land. Today, Danny continues that tradition at Walnut Ridge.

Danny is in charge of the crops — making sure the fields are planted, cared for and harvested so there is food to feed the animals and keep the farm moving forward. It is a job that takes long hours, patience and a willingness to work no matter what Mother Nature throws your way.

Those who know Danny know that he has a heart of gold. He is strong as an ox, but his strength isn't just physical. It is his will, his determination and his refusal to give up when things get tough.

Farming requires all of those qualities.
There are good years and difficult years. There are long days, early mornings, late nights, broken equipment, unpredictable weather and countless challenges that most people never see. Yet Danny keeps going.
Because he loves the land.
He loves the animals.
He loves his family.
And he loves the life they have built together at Walnut Ridge Farm.
Danny isn't looking for recognition. He's simply doing what farmers have done for generations — working hard, caring for the land, caring for the animals and doing whatever it takes to keep the farm going for the next generation.
Strong. Determined. Hardworking. Kind-hearted. And deeply connected to the land he cares for.
At Walnut Ridge Farm, farming isn't just a way of life.

The Story Behind Walnut Ridge Farm ❤️🐄🌾

Behind every farm is a story. Behind Walnut Ridge Farm is a woman who has spent her entire life farming — Pam Moser.

Pam has farmed her whole life, and being a woman in agriculture meant she often had to fight harder, prove herself, and earn the respect that others were sometimes given without question. She learned early that if she wanted to survive in this industry, she had to stand tall, stand proud, and never back down.

Farming isn't an easy life. It is long days, early mornings, late nights, rising costs, unpredictable weather, broken equipment, bills that don't stop, and countless sacrifices that most people never see.

And today, the fight hasn't gotten any easier.
In the middle of today's economic hardships, Pam is still fighting —Pam and her family are working hard to keep the farm going, working hard to keep agriculture alive, and working diligently to continue doing what they love: feeding their community.

They hear people say, “Shop local. Support your farmers. Buy from your community.”
But sometimes it feels like people don't listen.

When you buy from a local farm, you're not just buying a product. You're helping a family keep the lights on. You're helping preserve farmland. You're helping keep a farmer's dream alive. You're helping make sure there is still a farm here for the next generation.
Local farmers can't survive on words alone. They need people to show up.
So when you have a choice, choose local. Choose your farmer. Choose your community.

This family has spent a lifetime standing tall for Walnut Ridge Farm.

We have A2A2 dairy products, plus Beef, chicken and pork. Lots of other delicious local products as well.

Todays entertainment was roof painting. Used paint that was between 10 to 12 years old. Mixed perfectly and applied just as nice. One roof done now for the rest.
