I don’t cry over spilled milk, but dang… it sure is a pain to clean up. 🥛

Quick little heads up about our glass milk jugs! We’ve been having an issue with the white handles on some of our glass jugs breaking. I’m not sure if it’s something with how this batch of handles was manufactured but they definitely don’t seem to be lasting like the ones we’ve had in the past.

The handles really aren’t meant to be used to carry the full jug. They’re meant to help you pick the jug up and get it into your hand. Our washing and sanitizing process I’m sure also causes them to break down over time.

So please, when you’re carrying your milk, carry the jug from the bottom and use the handle just to pick it up and get it into your hand.

I’ve also ordered more of our metal milk carriers for anyone who would like one to help make carrying multiple bottles a little easier. They’ll be available for purchase in the farm store once they come in!

Thanks for helping us take care of our bottles. We really appreciate it!

❤️Dairy Discovery Camp 2026❤️

Watching these kids with their calves is pretty special. Some of them walk right in like they’ve been doing it forever, and some need a little time to get comfortable. But watching that confidence grow throughout the week is the best part.

We get to teach them about cows, farming and where their food comes from, but we also get to watch them learn to be patient, take responsibility and figure things out for themselves.

I love that we get to open up our farm and share this part of our life with them. It’s messy, it’s loud, sometimes a little chaotic, but there’s nothing quite like seeing a kid light up when they realize they can do something they weren’t sure they could.

These are the days I’ll remember. 🐄❤️

Well , I’ve really slowed down on here lately… I figured maybe it was time for a little life update.

Our Dairy Discovery Camp starts today. My favorite week of the year! I’m excited to welcome 15 campers to experience life on the farm!

I just came off fair week and somehow we are already jumping right into day camp. It’s always go, go, go around here, so I’m trying to take in the slow while I can this morning.

A cup of coffee, a quiet minute, and maybe a little time to breathe before the craziness starts.

Life has been moving really fast lately, and sometimes I think I get so caught up in getting everything done that I forget to just stop and enjoy where we’re at.

So this morning, I’m taking it in. The coffee, the quiet, the farm, and all the little things that make this crazy life ours.

Ps- isn’t this the cutest mug?! I got it at Market on the Mountain from Stardust Silverworks. She does beautiful work!

If you were planning on stopping by specifically for raw milk today, just a heads up that I’m down to about 7 bottles. That’s all I’m going to have until we milk again at 3:45.

Sorry for the inconvenience. It’s fair week and I’m trying to get ahead on everything so we can take some time together as a family. I’m making fresh cheese curd today, so I ended up draining the tank after I pulled milk, and we had a much bigger rush this morning than I expected. I definitely didn’t think we’d go through it this fast.

We’ll have fresh milk again after this afternoon’s milking. Thanks for your patience!
