🚨New Baby Alert!! 🚨

We have a fresh ram lamb that is HUGE!!

He's a monster so it looks like his 200 lb dad did his job!!! He was born this morning and it took his mom Pepper a few hours to let him nurse but we jugged* them and the pair are doing a lot better! This is Pepper's first lambing and she's done so well! We chose to name him **drumroll please** ✨BATMAN✨ because of his facial markings! He is probably one of our biggest lambs born on our farm. Pepper did not dilly dally and got the job done quick! 😂

*The term jugging refers to a short period when you lock a newborn lamb and his/her dam together so they can bond. This is a crucial few days for first-time moms. Otherwise depending on the ewe the length will vary.

Bred 100% Katahdin Ewe

READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE RESPONDING!!
I would like to introduce Ewe-liet!! She was exposed to a katahdin ram in February and was confirmed to be bred when she was sheared (to get excess hair off). The ram is 200 pounds, so we are expecting some pretty big babies! She is expected to be due in the first week of July. The only reason we have her listed as free to a good home is because we are trying to downsize our ewes. She has also had trouble in the past with birthing needing one of her babies pulled. Last year we gave her a year off and this was her redemption but we aren't too interested in a guessing game with breeding ewes. Because she is bred if you want to wait for her lamb to be weaned that is an option or if you want a two-in-one deal you can take her bred but once the baby is born it/they will be priced. She is about 6 years old and we have had her 4-5 years now. She is a bit shy but will warm up. Again we would like to see her to a non- breeding home.

Pics to be added shortly

‼️UPDATED‼️

2014 AQHA Gelding for Sale!!!!

Moose

$8,500 obo

For sale at no fault of his own, Moose. Moose is a papered, awesome all-around horse that is super bombproof. He stand 15hh. He is a solid gelding that is at the point in his life where he can go anywhere. He's got a great in-your-pocket personality, and he will follow you around the paddock. He has been exposed to tractors, trucks, and lawn mowers in his pasture. Currently he is on 24/7 turnout with a run-in though if he is given time to adjust, he could get used to a stall with turnout. He has been with dogs, cats, sheep, and goats. He loads easily and can trailer alone or with other horses. He has been trailered on a step-up and ramp load trailers. Moose is a great Starting in June he will be brought to shows for exposure. He has an awesome tail on him, too. Moose could be a barrel horse with patterning so I think he would do well in gymkhana type events, but the possibilities are endless with this exceptional gelding.
If you want to try him out let us know. Will do PPE at buyer's expense. I will also film and send videos and pictures of him on request.

Meet the Farm Monday!!

Name: Captain Ram-erica
Age:4 yrs
Breed: Katahdin
Gender: Ram
(pics from sale ads because we don't have current ones!)

Captain is a sweet ram we recently purchased for our ewes he is just an awesome ram we hope to keep for a few years. I find it fascinating to watch him correct our yearling ram when he gets out of line with the ewes, for example if Atlas (yearling) is too rough with the ewes during feeding Captain will quietly, but firmly, step between them and Atlas will get the memo. Overall, he is a great presence.
