May is mental health awareness month. LSR had the opportunity to join Lacher and Intersect/Access Services for a morning this month as they considered ways to improve mental health at work. A Lacher team member created T-shirts for the day to raise awareness about mental health, and the money raised by the T-shirt sales was presented to the Ranch to help keep our session program free. Thanks, Lacher, for your gift and desire to bring hope to our community.

Welcome to the LSR herd, Peanut! In March, Living Streams Ranch received a beautiful blessing from Ivy Hill Therapeutic Equestrian Center. Like many of our ranchers, Peanut has experienced a loss. For him, his community at Ivy Hill, his stablemates, the staff, and the clients he served. He is building connections with LSR staff members and volunteers, learning his new job with our ranchers, and figuring out his place in our herd. He is playful, curious, and up for the adventures of the day. He’s great for ranchers learning to set boundaries and as a companion in discovering joy after heartbreak. Thank you, Ivy Hill, for the care and love you gave him, and for the gift he is to our ministry.

You can love God deeply and still struggle to forgive.

Not because you don’t want freedom, but because the hurt was real.

If you’re carrying pain, disappointment, resentment, or wounds that still feel tender, this retreat was created with you in mind. Come spend a day at the ranch learning proven steps for processing hurt, extending forgiveness, and moving forward in wholeness.

Through teaching and testimonies, practical exercises, a powerful horse demonstration, and available prayer ministry, we’ll explore what forgiveness actually looks like — not minimizing pain, but learning how to release what we were never meant to carry alone.

There are places in our hearts that only begin to heal when we slow down long enough to let God in.
Let us help you make room for God to meet you honestly and gently right where you are.

Today is Blue Sunday, a national day of prayer for survivors of abuse. At Living Streams Ranch, we stand with every child, teen, and adult who has endured harm, and we remain committed to being a place of hope and healing.

Our staff and volunteers follow all required safety screenings and participate in ongoing training so that every rancher, youth volunteer, and participant experiences a refuge marked by compassion, protection, and Christ‑centered care.

We honor survivors today—and every day—as we work to keep the Ranch a safe place to heal.

We often don’t realize how much we need space… until we finally slow down.

At Come to the Table, women have described the morning this way:

This retreat is a quiet invitation to step away from the noise and be with the Father—
to sit, to receive, and to be reminded that there is a place for you at His table.
