A closer look at La Colina Chardonnay.

Our 2020 La Colina Estate Chardonnay is a wine club exclusive, crafted by winemaker Deepak Gulrajani from the hills of Nicholson Ranch.

Pale gold in the glass, this Chardonnay opens with floral notes of lemon, pear, peach, apricot, and a touch of butterscotch. The palate is vibrant and rich, with layers of kiwi, melon, pear, star fruit, and pineapple that linger through the finish.

It’s a beautiful pairing for halibut, especially with something creamy and buttery.

The cover crop is being mowed between the rows as the vines continue moving through the growing season. Our estate vineyard is organically farmed, so the work in the vineyard is always done with the long-term health of the land in mind.

Old-world winemaking begins in the vineyard and continues underground.

Our estate grapes are organically farmed, fermented with native yeast, and aged in the naturally cool environment of our caves.

During harvest, the fruit is crushed above the caves, then gently gravity-fed below — a thoughtful approach that preserves the character of the vineyard from the first stage of winemaking through aging in barrel.
