Happy Wednesday from Nili!

Homegrown. Barn dwelling. Professionally spoiled.

Currently accepting applications for a personal assistant to fluff her bedding, refill her snacks, turn on her fan, and remind everyone that she is, in fact, a very big deal.

She has no job.
She pays no bills.
She contributes absolutely nothing to the electric bill.
And somehow, SHE is the one requesting climate control.

“Can someone please remove this leaf from my face? It’s messing up my glam shot!”

Ma’am, you are a sheep. Not a guest at a five-star resort.

But look at that face. The fan is on, the snacks are coming, and apparently we all work for Nili now.

Nebi had an appointment today. He did not make the appointment. He did not consent to the appointment. And he would like to speak to management.

Today’s agenda:

CDT vaccine — rude.

DNA sample for VBSS — apparently he’s important enough to need paperwork.

New ear tag — a permanent earring. Very fashionable.

Tail band — let’s not discuss it.

FAMACHA check — someone staring into his eyelids. Weird.

Hoof trim — a pedicure he absolutely did not request.

And then… a full-speed sprint back to Mama to report the abuse.

Nebi has officially been sold and will be heading to his new farm as a future breeding ram! So he’s keeping his manhood, his good looks, and apparently a very long list of grievances.

He gives Heart Ridge Farms Spa & Wellness a 0/10.

We give him a 10/10 for dramatic performance.

Just another day of loving, caring for, and mildly offending the animals God has entrusted to us!

A Formal Introduction, just a few weeks late.

Our one and only fall lamb, and goodness gracious, did he come prepared to steal the show!

Meet Nebuchadnezzar, affectionately known as Nebi around Heart Ridge Farms!

This little guy may be the lone lamb of the fall, but he is holding strong in ALL the ways! He’s got the curls, the personality, the cutest little face, and apparently a whole lot of determination.

Because, in true farm fashion, nothing ever goes quite as planned.

After shearing day, his mama decided she no longer wanted to participate in the whole motherhood thing. Apparently, a fresh haircut was enough to make her forget she had a baby to feed!

So here we are. A stubborn mama, one determined little lamb, and a whole lot of extra work for the humans.

But Nebi? He’s thriving, growing, and reminding us that sometimes the smallest ones have the biggest fight in them.

He’s our little fall blessing, our unexpected extra chore, and another reminder that life on the farm is rarely easy, but always worth it.

Welcome to the world, sweet Nebi! You’ve already given us quite the story to tell.

And yes, we’re still trying to convince your mama that motherhood is not optional just because she got a new haircut.
