📢 This just in from the Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival Open Show: It was quite an honor to have both our Champion Ram & Champion Ewe be pulled for consideration of Supreme Champion. Our Ram was selected as Reserve Supreme Champion Ram! Thank you to the young folks that did a great job showing them for me & also to judge David Hoskins for your time today.

Attention fellow Shropshire breeders! Have you spoken with your representative lately? The board of directors has a meeting scheduled for August 30th.

There are agenda items that will potentially affect every member. Please reach out to your representative & make your thoughts known. Our job on the board is to represent our area members. If you don’t know who your representative is or are unable to contact them, please pm me & I will provide additional contact info.

Scenes from the Youth Sheep Expo in Greenfield, IN… We had Senior Champion - Grand Champion Ram & also Junior Champion - Reserve Grand Champion Ram with our Shropshires. We were able to get a few banners hung showing several different breeds for Lazy 5 Ranch too, including the Dorper Ram finishing in the top 5 in the Supreme Drive. It was a great weekend!

Thank you to Mr. Lloyd Arthur for always putting on such a well run & enjoyable show! If you have a junior exhibitor & haven’t been to YSE - you are missing out! Also a huge thank you to the young people that helped us get the sheep to the ring & all shown. We appreciate it!
