🍌 Hear me out…. BANANA FLIP LADYLOCKS!!!!

I started making Ladylocks last year for Christmas and up until then, I had never had one. Well, my bestie loves them and wanted some so I called up Kiedrowski’s in Amherst who used to always make them. Much to our surprise, they only do cream horns now because the Ladylocks are too time consuming.
I took on that challenge and now have Ladylocks on my list of accomplishments!

Because they are time consuming (each one rolled by hand), they are a little on the pricier side. I have 4pks for 💰6️⃣. They are the traditional pinky-size.

Now for the FUN part!! I did:
🍌 Banana Flip (same filling)
🍏 Apple
🎃 Pumpkin

What is a Ladylock you ask?? It’s a puff pastry shell with a frosting type filling - mine are similar to the oatmeal cream pie filling, but with a twist.

I made double the banana ones as I anticipate those to be whisked away 😉

🌟 Moo Cow - marshmallow Oreo frosting with crushed Oreos

🌟 Dubai - pistachio frosting (yes, I even put the “crunchy stuff” a.k.a. “Kadayif” in it, and chocolate drizzle

🌟 Peanut Butter - peanut butter frosting with fall sprinkles (same recipe as the peanut butter filling on the PB & Jellyicious sandwiches you love so much 😉)

And yes, they are all MADE FROM SCRATCH - ooey-gooey brownies 🤎

I have decided to tweak my hours just a tad and instead of opening at 8, I will open at 9. I’ve only ever had 1 customer in that 8 o’clock hour, so 9 it is!

Keeping 8pm for now and adding mood lighting 🙌 Ive noticed lots of customers in the 7pm hour 🙂

Time to let the cat out of the bag… I’ve been keeping a special surprise and figured it was time to share with you all!

I am in the VERY beginning stages of expanding! Don’t worry, the wagon isn’t going anywhere - I will find a way to still incorporate it! I have plans for an actual building, hopefully in the spring/early summer of 2027! I’m still looking at styles and designs, and I am not opposed to a used one. At some point, I would love to run electric out to it so bonus points if it already has electric hook up.

I’ve been looking at styles and I really love this one with the doors that open in the front and the windows at the top! I don’t know why but this style is speaking to me and you don’t see it very often which I love 🤔

So here is where I need your help! Drop your recommendations below for any shed companies or auctions/places I could snag one that maybe I’m not thinking of. 

Also, it would cost my dad and/or my brother just as much in lumber to make it themselves with time they don’t have. So that is really not an option lol 😂

This will allow me to not worry about the weather and be able to keep jams and honey out in the cold weather months. Of course, I will have room to expand my inventory and offerings as well 😉

Ladylocks are so fun and such a favorite 😍 I can’t wait to put the banana flip filling in them.

Also, brownies are going to be a little different style than the doughnies, but they will be just as good! 

We might have some surprise items from Geary's Heritage Harvest again and English Muffins from Faith & Flour Home Bakery too!

🍌 Working on the menu for next weekend… I can’t wait till Christmas to bring back ladylocks! 🤩

Some of you guys remember from last year before I was even open, the ladylocks I made for Henrietta Produce & Pantry LLC. Well, I’ve got ideas… Sticking with the uniqueness of my banana flips, I am going to try out banana ladylocks ! I will use the same filling as my banana flips, only it will go in the puff pastry shell of a lady lack… I am so excited!!!! I will have pumpkin and apple too, but the banana flip ones I am super stoked about! 🙌💛

I have a feeling no matter how many I make, I will still need to make more ha ha ha 🤣 Planning to have them Friday morning so add it to your calendar if you’re a banana flip lover!
