I'd like to welcome the newest member of my herd. J3 Farm NP Patty Cake. This girl is deep and wide and was commended for her openness of rib at the Summer Sensational mini dairy goat show. Thank you Summer for allowing me the opportunity to add this sweet girl to my breeding program. She fits in beautifully.

Of course I waited until the end of the day when the light was most challenging to take pictures. Regardless, t's hard not to see how lovely she is.

I finally got my last tomato plant transplanted and my new blueberry bush upgraded to a bigger container.

But then I have this cucumber. I kept neglecting it in its 4 inch cup and it kept growing. I don't have any planter box space for it. So I put it in a bigger pot. It's flowering and I'd love to get cukes. What should I do with it?

It's egg-a-palooza around here. The chicken mafia has been hard at work on the legit side of their business.

It was time I washed up the stacks of eggs that were overrunning my laundry room. I had to dig into my reserve pile of cartons and found one my dad had labeled 6 months before he died. I miss him every day. So do the chickens. He was much more responsible about their care than my 14 year old 😊

Savy and I placed 2nd in a large class of aged does under judge Cade Cockburn. This girl is a powerhouse at age 6 and was commended on her dairy strength and udder attachments.

She is my favorite showing partner and I cannot wait to show her daughter more next year. I have the great privilege to own Floof Farm HT Tequila Sunrise.
