From Garden to Jar to Table 🥬
One of the best things about growing cabbage is how many ways you can enjoy it! This harvest turned into homemade sauerkraut—just cabbage, salt, and a little elbow grease. After fermenting, it becomes a delicious, probiotic-rich food that can be enjoyed in so many meals.
We also used some of our cabbage for egg roll in a bowl, one of our favorite quick suppers.
I still have several more heads of cabbage waiting in the garden, and I’m planning to make another batch of kraut soon. That got me wondering…
What are your favorite ways to use cabbage?
Do you make sauerkraut, coleslaw, cabbage rolls, fried cabbage, soups, or something else? Share your favorite recipes in the comments—I’m always looking for new ideas!
