The Sourwood is presently blooming beautifully. The blooms are more vibrant than any I have seen since moving to Lewis Chapel Mountain. The Summer Sumac is also developing buds. Full bloom is expected to occur within a couple of weeks.

Sourwood Trees are currently in full bloom on Lewis Chapel Mountain. In three weeks we will be harvesting world-renowned Sourwood Honey from our beehives. 🐝🐝🐝🐝🍯

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Honey Season! Our initial harvest yielded 9 gallons of Tulip Poplar Honey from three thriving bee hives in the Tennessee Valley. Hopefully, this sets the tone for a successful Honey Season. 🐝🐝🐝

The honeybees have been actively harvesting nectar from the Sourwood and Sumac during the last couple of days. Hopefully they are filling the hives to capacity.
