Hey, at least it will technically be in the 70s when the Farm Stand opens tomorrow. ☺️

Here is all the naturally grown produce you can look forward to:

Carrots, beets, fresh red and yellow onions, fresh garlic, pickled sugar snap peas and broccoli, the last of the cooking greens, radishes, turnips,  cucumbers, and the first of the summer squash (so not a large quantity yet).

Sourdough bread thanks to Pawfect Pastures…plain, cheddar, apple cinnamon, and pizza herb focaccia!

Locally roasted coffee from Batteaux! Ground and whole bean in medium, dark, and decaf.

See you tomorrow, Saturday, from 9-11 am at 395 Clayville Rd. in Powhatan at the Simple Roots farm stand!

We will have lots of other fun colorful tasty produce, all naturally grown in Powhatan. Stay tuned for a full harvest list tomorrow!

Tomorrow’s Farm Stand is going to be a fun one and it could be filled with some “firsts!”

Have you ever had pickled sugar snap peas? Have you ever had fresh garlic or onions? Have you ever had lemon rosemary sourdough bread? Have you ever had locally roasted coffee?

The list goes on! I hope you will join us for all sorts of naturally grown produce like carrots, beets, radishes, turnips, cooking greens, sugar snap peas, onions, garlic, Swiss chard and more…not to mention a bunch of eggs. ☺️

Brittany of Pawfect Pastures has outdone herself for the Farm Stand tomorrow!

So many delicious sourdough varieties like blueberry, cheese, garlic rosemary, and lemon rosemary! And yes, we will have plain and sandwich bread.

Cora loves the new lemon rosemary variety. She likes it with butter and our honey and I like it with butter and hummus.

Just one of the fantastic local finds at the Simple Roots Farm Stand open tomorrow, Saturday from 9 to 11 AM!

Driving back with that beautiful tub of intoxicating smelling bread…I almost pulled over and attacked it! 🤤
