So with different species and feeds in our show barn, we label the outside, but also place the feed tag inside the feed bin. We love our Tuff Stuff feed bins. The tag inside helps keep things straight and organized. What all do you do to keep feed containers labeled?

Well we had storms come through before sunrise today. We aren’t complaining because we desperately need rain. It just made barn building that much more fun. Pop up showers continued through the morning but we got done what we could. Framing is pretty much complete. We added all the truss bracing today. Cut off excess post height. And also trenched in a conduit from the old building for electric. This will be for the fans, lights, and cameras.

We also stopped by CFC Farm & Home Center to check out some GoBob Pipe & Steel - America's Farm & Ranch Equipment “continuous fence” panels. They seem to be the perfect addition for what we need in the new barn. We can cut and weld them up to fit our needs. An order was placed and they should be at our local CFC Farm & Home Center Warrenton next week.

Got the fascia boards and 90% of the roof purlins complete. Heat wasn’t as hot as yesterday and also had a little breeze today. Decided to catch an air chuck off the nailgun with my face when it popped off. I was trying to hook it on a truss while scaling the purlins when it just decided to let go. Wasn’t much I could do. Joey said if I’m lucky it will scare. 🤣 🤦🏻‍♂️

We had some inquiries and questions about the goldfish in the cattle waterer. Well here is the waterer that Joey caught the two small ones out of. Clearly they are thriving!!! I lost count of how many there are!!!
