NEW DIRECT UK ALLOCATION: SIMON FAURE ⚡️

It’s rare that a tasting stops us mid-sip, but Simon Faure’s new range did exactly that. One of the most exciting young producers we have tasted in years, Faure is part of a new generation proving that the Mâconnais can produce whites with as much soul and precision as Meursault or Chassagne.

Originally trained as an electrician, Simon exchanged cables for vineyards and has, in remarkably short order, established himself as a thoughtful, highly capable winemaker. His approach is notably restrained: low-intervention in the cellar, attentive farming in the vineyard, and a deep-founded respect for the life cycle of vines.

Working with fruit from the Mâconnais’ most prized plots, Simon vinifies with a clear, rebellious intention to let place speak louder than process. These are articulate, finely judged wines that trade stuffy Burgundy hierarchies for high-voltage pleasure.

After being blown away by the sheer energy of his range, we have secured our first-ever allocation on the (frustratingly) tiny 2024 vintage. We are bringing two showstoppers straight to UK shores in a few months at a fair, unbeatable price.

Chiseled, mineral-driven, and purely electric. Get in before the word gets out.

At Wine Source, we are unashamedly obsessed with Grower Champagne. ✨️🍾✨️

We have been advocating for this artisan movement since day one, welcoming successive waves of exciting vignerons who continue to raise the bar for quality in a region once dominated by the "Big Houses."

When we first met Justine and François at , we knew this couple was pure fire. A remarkable union of two storied families from Alsace and , La Rogerie was a project that made our hearts beat faster from the very start. Over the last few years, we have watched their vision come to life; their wines leave an indelible impression on everyone lucky enough to taste them.

We are proud to call this young couple more than just partners for our UK Exclusive distribution - they are, most importantly, close friends. In a region where marketing and commercial strategies often take center stage, we are here to remind everyone that the real work is done in the vineyards by passionate, inspiring people like François and Justine.

One Man, One Hectare: Domaine Chifflet St Joseph 🍷

Those who follow us know we rarely stray from Burgundy and Champagne, where most of our growers are rooted. However, thanks to a few close friends, we have ventured into the Rhône to uncover emerging talents who share our philosophy for wine and winemaking.

In the hamlet of Verdelette, Paul Chifflet tends a tiny one-hectare plot planted by his grandfather on these steep slopes at the turn of the last century. Bottled under the family label for the first time in 2021, Domaine Chifflet’s Saint-Joseph is one of those honest wines that delights the palate from the first sip. Under the tutelage of a former cellar master at JL Chave, Paul micro-vinifies his tiny plot into four separate cuvees before blending and bottling a truly soulful Syrah that is as unpretentious as it is delicious.

A quick mental equation reveals just how little of this is bottled each year - and with only 200-odds allocated to the UK, this is definitely one you want in your rack.

If you know, you know. 🍇✨ Si Tu Sais

We are thrilled to see the buzz growing for Si Tu Sais - one of the most exciting micro-négoces to emerge from Burgundy in recent years. Founded by the talented duo Patrick Johnston and Sara Cunningham, these wines are the definition of "modern Burgundy": low intervention, crystalline purity, and incredible tension.

As the official UK importer, we’ve watched these allocations fly out the door. The 2023s are now live on our online store and, much like their debut, they are disappearing fast.

From the electric Aligoté "Les Vris" to the elegant Pinots from tiny plots in the Hautes Côte up to Gevrey, these are wines made for those who value soul over "make-up."

📩 Limited allocations remaining. DM us for a private offer or just browse through the bottle list on our store before the cellar is empty.

What a night at 67 Pall Mall 🍷🔥

We had the pleasure of presenting an extraordinary tasting of Domaine Prieuré Roch with Antonio Quari in the room — and what a presence. A packed house, an exceptional line-up, and an audience completely drawn in by Antonio’s passion, stories, and deep connection to each wine.

Electric atmosphere. Serious bottles. Pure Burgundy soul. ✨

Redefining Alsace.

There are small domaines — and then there is La Rogerie. Just 0.25ha on the Brand hillside, farmed with uncompromising focus by François and Justine, yielding a Riesling of striking authority and finesse. This is Alsace with intent: crystalline fruit, tensile structure and a long, saline finish that lingers.

SIP Burgundy went OFF last night 🍷🔥

Hosted by Réno Pacalet, we poured straight fire from Maison Réno and Philippe Pacalet at Antidote — one of London’s coolest wine bars.

The room was electric. Pacalet fans, Burgundy nerds, and newcomers from all walks of life, all united over low-intervention wines and deep respect for terroir, culture, and history.

Serious bottles. Zero pretence. Pure Burgundy vibes. 🍇✨

Yesterday morning at Sael London, The Wine Source hosted an intimate On Trade Masterclass with Burgundian father and son Philippe Pacalet and Réno Pacalet.

Six cuvées, poured side by side, offered a study in nuance — generational interpretation, vineyard precision and the quiet confidence of minimal intervention.

London’s leading sommeliers leaned in as stories of cellar instinct and site specificity unfolded in the glass.

A thoughtful, unhurried tasting — and a reminder that in Burgundy, philosophy is inseparable from place. 🍷
