Shout out to Carleton College students for doing this important research! So happy to report that after 10 years of raising chickens in this hazelnut orchard at the Organic Compound, we are getting excitingly positive data about the impacts on soil health, plant health and carbon sequestration that this regenerative chicken system provides. Halfway to Harmony, how deep did we pray? What did we learn? Our circle is strong after 13 years of gathering. That’s 13 summer solstices with 13 thriving gardens. That’s babies being born and memories our children will never forget. Introductions turned into life long connections. Inspiration, transformed into a lifetime of purpose. This is community.
