Lot 12 - TFS Reacher 4320M

He’s built like a brick s—house. Once we got past the initial excitement of just how good this bull truly is, we realized there was no way we could call him what we first had in mind—so Reacher it was. And the name fits. He is absolutely massive in his muscle design and dimension. Impressive from every angle, yet still remarkably athletic for a bull carrying this much power and mass.

Reacher’s ability to add value across every level of the beef industry is immediately evident. He flat-out separates himself from his contemporary group, ranking 6th at weaning and an elite 2nd at yearling. Backing up that individual performance, his EPD profile places his growth and carcass weight predictions at the very top of the SimAngus population—a remarkable accomplishment for a ¼-blood bull and continued proof of concept for the value of our composited seedstock program here at Trinity Farms.

While we always keep our direct customers front of mind when planning matings and building the next generation of bulls, we’re extremely proud of just how much industry relevance we continue to pack into these genetic standouts. Reacher is no exception, and like so many others in this year’s offering, he is also a Certified Tenet bull. In what may be the ultimate testament to the cow power behind this program, Reacher was raised by a first-calf heifer. Congratulations to Claye and Conner Kaelberer of North Dakota on purchasing his dam out of our fall bred-cow offering. At the time she sold, we had no idea just how much potential she was carrying—but she certainly made herself known.
